AJ GOLF STUDENTS WIN SCGA EVENT - Gordon Harder and Steve Roth both watched the AJ Golf Videos at Crosby National Golf Course last July. They liked what they learned. This July, they went out and won the SCGA Team Championship played at Primm Valley in Nevada. Their 19-under-par 123 total for 36 holes earned them a 2-stroke victory over 79 other teams who qualified for the tournament. Harder, a left-hander, shot 67 on his own ball the first day. Roth's iron play on day two put the team consistently close to the hole for a victory they described as "no sweat" in the 110 degree Nevada heat.

Bobby Gage played 108 holes in the finals of the Q-School Tournament at the PGA West Stadium and Nicklaus courses. Midway through the third round he led the tournament at 9- under-par. He made 29 birdies in his six rounds, yet a bogey on the last hole of the last day left him one shot shy of getting his PGA Tour card for 2003. Bobby's 7-under-par total score does earn him fully exempt status next year on the Nationwide (formerly BUY.COM) Tour.
